How did pasta recipes become so popular
A ‘pasta recipe’ is an expression which changed the world forever. Nobody believed that there could be a dish which could be loved by such a great mass of people from all over the world. You certainly know that people living in different countries have different tastes- some peoples like spicy food, other peoples like cheesy dishes and so on. But there is one rule which is valid for all peoples no matter whether they live in Europe, Asia, Africa, America or Australia- all peoples like delicious food.
And who could say that there is a pasta recipe which is not delicious? There are hundreds, even thousands of recipes for preparing pasta but none of them could be considered ‘non-tasty’. It really does not matter whether it is a simple recipe which involves the usage of 4-5 main ingredients such as pasta, olive and any sauce or it is a complicated lasagna recipe which required a day or two for fulfilling the preparation.
However, a question which many people are asking themselves is how the pasta recipes could have become so popular all over the world. Basically, that question has already been answered to some extent: as it has been said, all people like tasty food. And pasta dishes could be blamed for everything else: not looking very well, not being tender but they could never be blamed for tasting bad. It is like there is a magic in all pasta dishes and it does not matter what ingredients have been used, it does not matter what sauce has been prepared- as long as it is pasta, it seems to be absolutely delicious.
So the ‘route’ of this stunning dish is very long. As you know the first pasta and lasagna recipes were ‘invented’ in Italy so it is not surprising that it first spread in Europe (Austria, Germany, Slovenia and other counties close to Italy). Afterwards, the recipe left the boundaries of Europe and reached Asia and Africa- China, India, Iraq, Iran and many other countries also had access to the magic recipe. Meanwhile, the number of the recipes continued increasing very fast until it reached its present pattern.
